Christmas traditions from around the world

The holidays are celebrated all over the globe. There are so many unique traditions in each country and region. We thought it would be fun to share some of them with you. Learn about holiday traditions in the Netherlands such as they stuff wooden shoes instead of hanging stocks? In Sweden, the yule goat symbolizes Christmas. In Kiwi, Christmas takes place in their summertime. So, it means grilling outside and plenty of beach time. In El Salvador, they celebrate Christmas with dazzling fireworks on December 24th and 25. In Poland, they always set an extra setting at the dinner table just in case someone at the last minute shows up. In Japan, it’s a tradition to eat KFC on Christmas. It’s extremely popular with many waiting in long lines to buy it. It’s fun to see how everyone celebrates the holidays so hopefully next year we can all enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures ourselves in person. On behalf of the entire team at Azulon, have a safe and happy holiday season.
